PICTORION das werk has developed its own unique Digital Intermediate (DI) workflow. DI includes the process of editing, scanning, dustbusting, color grading and final mastering. This is done with greater color fidelity and at a higher resolution than telecine transfers.  DI allows more creativity and flexibility, concerning for example last minute changes of the cut. The resulting DI master is being used for all kinds of deliveries in high quality including DCP, which becomes more important these days.
Thanks to this data centric workflow, the file based DI process creates a collaborative working environment for color correction, visual effects, editing, and mastering.
