The European Film Awards was held this year in the Jahrhunderthalle, Bochum.

Almost 3,000 invited guests from the European film scene were there as the EFAs were awarded by Anke Engelke and other laudators.

Our contribution, „Niko - Ein Rentier hebt ab,“ („Niko & The Way to the Stars“) was amongst the nominations for animated film.

In its sixth consecutive year, the Berlin team created the on-air design and the entire packaging of later live shows on ARTE as a complete package in full HD.  Our artists worked with 2D/3D animation and the complex editorial lists and the reconstruction of the 3D statue dominated the official program‘s stage design.

On the gala evening, PDW had a small stand with information and our film reel.  The full-page ad in the program was created stereoscopically and could be marveled at in the magazine using an included set of glasses.

We were very pleased with the cooperation of filmmakers.  In 2010 the film awards will be held in Talinn.
